Residential water-line repiping

Whole-Home Repiping for Aging or Leaking Pipes

Professional plumbing service

Experienced plumbers. Upfront pricing.

If old water lines keep leaking, restrict flow, or show widespread corrosion, a planned repipe can end the cycle of emergency patches. Citrusline provides whole-home and partial repiping with written schedules, floor protection, permit coordination, and a ten-year workmanship warranty.

What we do

What this service includes

When repiping makes sense

Repiping is worth considering after repeated leaks, corrosion in several areas, poor flow throughout the home, discolored water from aging lines, or repeated repairs on the same pipe material. One isolated leak does not automatically mean the whole house needs new piping.

A written route and daily work plan

Before work begins, we map the fixture groups, main shutoff, water heater, attic or crawl access, and practical wall and ceiling routes. The proposal identifies expected openings, materials, permits, schedule, cleanup, and any patching included in the scope.

Partial and whole-home repipes

A partial repipe may solve a failed branch or serve a remodeled area. A whole-home repipe replaces the larger supply network. We explain which old piping would remain, where new transitions are needed, and the cost of each reasonable option.

Pressure and flow are measured before the proposal

Low flow can come from old piping, but it can also involve fixtures, valves, the incoming supply, or a pressure regulator. We measure the system first so a repipe is recommended only when the piping is actually part of the problem.

Helpful answers

Frequently asked questions

Does one leaking pipe mean the whole house needs repiping?

No. A localized repair may be the right choice when the failure is isolated and the remaining pipe is in serviceable condition. We recommend repiping when the broader system shows a repeated or widespread problem.

What information helps plan a whole-home repipe?

We inspect the pipe material, prior leak locations, fixture layout, main shutoff, water heater, attic or crawl access, wall and ceiling routes, and surfaces that need protection.

Can a home be repiped in sections?

Sometimes. A phased plan must account for transitions between old and new piping, shutoffs, access, future work, and the condition of the pipe left in service.

Will repiping improve water pressure?

It can improve flow when old pipe is restricted or undersized, but the incoming supply, pressure regulator, valves, fixtures, and simultaneous use also matter. We measure pressure and flow before promising a result.
